Airsoft is an extremely diverse hobby, played all around the world (except for in some countries with silly laws surrounding toy guns). 

In Airsoft, we go to fields and shoot each other with small, biodegradable balls of plastic known as BBs using 'Airsoft Replicas', which are usually electric gearboxes inside a shell, of which propel those BBs, and these replicas usually look like a firearm. There are several other types of replicas, but Automatic Electric Gearbox (AEG) Replicas are the most common.

Think of it like a video game such as call of duty in real life, but no one is hurt and games last longer.

Feel free to google any of the terms you are unfamiliar with- there's an explanation for everything.

Airsoft is a completely safe and fun hobby, and can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of age, gender, height or weight. It's good exercise too. 

At the end of the day, everyone at an airsoft game is just a nerd who loves shooting guns without hurting people.
